What we do
NB - the AROHA site is currently under reconstruction - the News & Events pages are not available at present
AROHA has many important roles:
- to encourage the recording, archiving and use of oral history material whether recorded in audio, video or any other medium;
- to be a central point of contact for oral historians;
- to be a link between oral historians in North East Scotland and other parts of Scotland, the UK and the world;
- to provide information on oral history methods and procedures;
- to provide technical information and how-to guides for new and experienced oral historians;
- to promote regular meetings, talks and training workshops.
Membership of AROHA for individuals and groups is FREE
