Do you have a short story to tell about life in Aberdeen and the North East?

Why not share it with us.

We would like to hear from you.

If you would like it to feature in our newsletter, or on our website, send us an email with your story. We may contact you if you would like to record it so that we can put the sound alongside the written account here on the Your Story page. If you would like to send a photograph to go with Your Story, send that too as a jpeg file.

Some important notes:

• Your Story may be a hundred words, a thousand words or whatever you want to write. For the newsletter a maximum length would be 1,000 words.
• Publication of Your Story and any associated material on the AROHA website will be subject to the editorial control of the site Webmaster.
• We will contact you before Your Story and any accompanying visual or sound material is placed on the website to explain your rights under copyright law.

Your Story Podcasts - AROHA has now set up a Podcast channel which you can access from this page. This is how we will feature your interview clips and audio material in a 'streaming media' format, in other words, click and listen!
